When Wellness Becomes Worship

When Wellness Becomes Worship

Introduction

The Invitation to Go Deeper

I think a lot of us come into wellness from a place of desperation.
We’re tired. We’re bloated. We can’t sleep. Our hormones are a mess, and no one seems to give us straight answers.

So we start searching. For diets. For supplements. For someone to finally explain why our bodies feel like they’ve betrayed us.

But something beautiful happens when you stay in that search long enough. At some point, you realize it was never just about the symptoms it was about something deeper.
You’re not just craving energy… you’re craving peace.

You’re not just wanting weight loss… you’re wanting to feel free.
You’re not just trying to “fix” your body… you’re trying to come home to it.

And that’s the invitation I believe God places in front of us:
To go deeper.
To stop striving and start surrendering.
To stop chasing perfection and start living from a place of being loved, already.

When Faith Meets Function

For so long, I separated my faith from my body. I prayed. I worshipped. I loved Jesus…But I didn’t treat my physical body like it was sacred.

I used food to cope. I pushed through exhaustion. I numbed out with sugar and Chardonnay. And I tried to “fix” everything with a new plan, a new product, a new protocol.

But something in me was still fractured. And no amount of supplements or meal prepping could heal what was really going on.

It wasn’t until I started bringing God into the wellness conversation that things started to shift.

When I began asking, Lord, how do You want me to treat this body You gave me?
What does it look like to worship You in how I eat, how I move, how I rest?

The world tells us our body is a project to perfect.
But the Word tells us our body is a temple to honor.

That changes everything.

The Night Everything Hit Me

I want to share something I wasn’t planning to talk about. But maybe you need to hear it.

The other night, I had one of those moments where everything just came crashing in.
I was overwhelmed with emotion, past wounds, betrayal, pain I thought I had already processed.

One memory in particular hit hard: when my own mother chose to disinherit me.
Not because I did anything wrong, but because of decisions that were made behind closed doors by lawyers, by family members, by people who should have protected me.

I don’t say that lightly. It was traumatic. And for years, I carried the weight of it, wondering what it said about my worth.

But that night, in the quiet, I had a literal come-to-Jesus moment.

The Lord showed me something I’ll never forget:
He said, Yes, the inheritance was stolen… but it wasn’t your true inheritance.

I am.

He reminded me that what was taken from me in the natural had no power to change what was already mine in the Spirit.
No legal document could erase my identity as a daughter, my purpose, or my calling.

That night, something broke off me. Not the memory but the grip it had on my identity.

And I realized: healing isn’t always about fixing what happened. Sometimes it’s about receiving a new perspective from the One who never left your side.

A New Kind of Healing

After that night, something changed. Not in my circumstances those were still messy. But in my spirit.

For so long, I thought healing meant fixing the physical.
Clearing up symptoms. Losing weight. Having perfect labs.
But the deeper I’ve gone, the more I’ve realized: healing is about restoration.

It’s about becoming whole again mind, body, and spirit.
It’s about releasing the things I used to chase, and receiving the things I didn’t know I had permission to hold:
Peace.
Joy.
Rest.
Clarity.
God’s presence in the middle of my everyday choices.

Now, when I walk into my kitchen, it feels different.
When I go for a walk, I sense His nearness.
When I drink my mineral water or journal or put down the wine glass, I’m not just doing it to be “healthy”.
I’m responding to His voice.

This is what it means to glow deeper. Not just better skin or stronger habits.
It means anchoring your wellness journey in something eternal.
It means partnering with the One who made your body and trusting Him to lead you home to it.

The Invitation for You

If you’re reading this and you’ve been feeling stuck, tired, or spiritually dry…
If you’ve tried everything to fix your health but still feel like something’s missing…
You’re not broken. You’re being invited.

Not into another program, not into a shame cycle.
But into presence. Into wholeness. Into the arms of the One who already calls you healed, chosen, and deeply loved.

This blog, this space, this journey it’s not about doing more.
It’s about returning.
Returning to truth.
Returning to who you were before the world, the pain, or the pressure tried to define you.
Returning to the only One who can restore your glow from the inside out.

Welcome to Glow Deeper.

You’re safe here. You’re seen here. And you’re never walking this alone.
